Let’s make some plans!
How happy and hopeful are you right now? Wasn’t that announcement a breath of fresh air? I woke up this morning to find the sun was shining, plants were springing up everywhere, and I felt so excited for what is yet to come! I know we must still remain very cautious, but at least we have goals to reach for, and can start attempting to make plans.
Now that the days are getting brighter, and dreams of holidays are becoming a reality, we are going to start promoting our brighter, sunnier stock. These will certainly help us get into the holiday spirit.
All artwork is available in a variety of formats. We sell greeting cards, plywood boards, prints, canvas prints, and in special circumstances we even sell the originals. Please get in touch if you have any queries or requests.
Not forgetting our coastal friends (and foes)…
Latest updates
You may have noticed that the website has had an overhaul. It is still undergoing further developments. We have retaken photographs of all of our stock to improve the aesthetic of the online gallery, giving our images a more polished appearance.
In the last week we have subscribed to Mailchimp, in order to tailor our content to the right audience. Cherry has such a diverse range of work, we can now keep followers of certain ranges updated with new content. We are currently attending webinars to learn how to put this into practice.
There are still plenty of lessons to learn about Facebook Ads and optimising Etsy. We’ve been present on these platforms for a while, but haven’t quite learned how to “crack the code”. We ran a couple of very successful campaigns – and when an advert works, it is amazing to see, but are still finding the audience reach very hit and miss.
Plans for the future!
- Exhibitions – Our work is currently on display in two galleries, and hopefully they will be opening their doors from April 12th.

- Fairs: We are hopeful that we can attend the Autumn Fair this year. This is a key event for all card makers, and people who want to make connections within the crafts and retail sector. We had such an eye-opening experience at the Spring Fair in 2020, we cannot wait to see what they have on offer.
- Approaching retailers: Considering most of our work has been behind closed doors for 12 months, we are very keen to make connections with retailers who would consider selling our stock. The aim this year is to get our there and have Cherry’s artwork seen in the flesh.
- Adding more products to our range: Many people have commented that there is a gap for more products, particularly in the seagull range. We are putting the feelers out, and have approached a couple of suppliers. At the moment we are just asking for quotes, and we would really need to crunch our numbers to see if it is a viable business option.
Hopefully we will get to see lots of you soon!
Best wishes
Cherry and the team!
