    • Chip

      £3.00£140.00

“Chip”. What else do you call a seagull with a chip in its mouth? He looks “like the cat that got the cream” with that chip in his mouth. We considered calling him Duncan, but he would have needed a bowl of ketchup to Dunk his chip.

    • Don’t Stand So Close to Me

      £3.00£140.00
      Acrylic on canvas.
I’ve always tried to keep my Seagulls current, so there has to be a 2020 painting to reflect life as we are living it now.
Rainbows have played a massive role in our lives in the past few months. Due to the exceptional weather, in recent times, there have been many sightings of coronas around the sun. I used this image as a play on words.
The 2-metre rule of social distancing is being observed by the Seagulls basking in the sun. Following this week’s news, I may have to paint another edition but alter the distance to 1 and a bit metres.
    • Early Bird

      £3.00£140.00

“Early Bird” and “I’ve Pulled.” both have very similar meanings—this is a relevant title for both of these seagulls. As the tide goes out, the sand that is left behind on the beach gets covered in worm casts.

“Gullabauble” How on earth do you paint a Christmas picture of a Seagull?…

    • Love You

      £3.00£140.00

“Love You” This description is all about the tilt of the seagull’s head as he came towards me. When I painted him on the canvas, it looked to me like he was saying “I Love You.”

    • Mine! Mine! Mine!

      £3.00£140.00

“Mine! Mine! Mine!” Two seagull’s battling over one chip. This title is a direct pinch from Disney Pixar film “Finding Nemo.” In the movie, there are lots of seagulls standing on the rocks hoping to get a crab. They are all calling “Mine! Mine! Mine!”

    • Photo Bomb

      £3.00£140.00

“Photo Bomb” as the title describes, was a trendy thing to do. “Bombing” someone else’s Selfie photo to raise a laugh!—the idea was to have two seagulls ‘posing’ when something totally unrelated pops into the picture.
